Quarry Walk is home to many British mammals, the dense reeds along with the abundance of natural scrubland, woodland and grassland provide perfect cover for the more shy and timid creatures.

Otters are known to reside along the Nene Valley and there is absolutely no reason why they would not choose to be regular visitors to Quarry Walk!

Other mammals frequently observed include foxes, muntjac deer, badgers, pipistrelle and daubenton's bats.
